Embedding a video on your website

Embed a finished Mozaik video on your website or landing page with a ready-made snippet — copy the code from Embed video and paste it into your site so the player runs inline and on-brand.

When you're publishing videos across your own sites and landing pages, Mozaik gives you a ready-made embed code for every finished project. Paste it into a page and the video plays inline, on-brand, without sending viewers off to another site — the same approach works whether you're placing one video or rolling many out across a site.

Find the embed code

Open a finished (Complete) project from Projects to open its preview window. On the right, the Share this video panel gives you three options: Copy video link, Download video and Embed video.

Click Embed video to open the Embed this video panel. It shows a read-only code field, a short instruction — "Copy and paste this code snippet into your website to display your video there." — and a Copy button.

Copy and place the code

  • In the Embed this video panel, click Copy to copy the code to your clipboard.

  • Open your website or landing-page editor and paste it where you want the video to appear.

  • Publish the page — the player runs inline for every visitor.

The embedded player streams the video from Mozaik's hosting, so you don't host the file yourself and viewers don't need a Mozaik account to watch.

Good to know: The full snippet is an <iframe> that's responsive by default, so the player scales to fit the space you drop it into. Any site or CMS that accepts an HTML/iframe embed will take it.

Embed code options

Expand Embed code options to fine-tune the code before you copy it — "Modify the embed code to optimally adapt it to your needs." Each toggle rewrites the field instantly:

  • Only copy embed link — on by default. When on, the field holds the plain embed link (a URL like https://web.mozaik-app.com/video/embed?…), handy when a platform asks for a URL rather than HTML. Turn it off to get the full <iframe> snippet you can paste straight into a page's HTML.

  • Only copy file link — off by default. Copies a direct link to the video file instead of an embed.

  • Enforce landscape video player — on by default. Keeps the embedded player in landscape.

  • Set fixed dimensions — off by default. Gives the embed a fixed width and height instead of scaling responsively.

  • Show Mozaik branding — on by default. Shows or hides the "Video created with Mozaik" mark on the player.

  • Disable cookie-consent — off by default. Turns off the embedded player's cookie-consent prompt.

Good to know: These options only change the code you copy — they don't touch the finished video. Set the toggles the way your site needs them, then click Copy.

Other ways to share

Don't need an embed? The same Share this video panel also offers Copy video link (a shareable link that opens the video on its own page) and Download video (save it as an MP4). Both have their own articles.
