Setting logo, color & music on a template
Set the logo, colors, music, and aspect ratio for a single template so every video in the series stays on-brand.

Every template has its own top-bar controls for Logo, Color, Music, and Aspect ratio. Setting them once on the template means every video built from it comes out consistently on-brand, with no per-video styling work.
Where to find the controls
Open a template in the builder (Templates β Custom β open or create a template). The four controls sit in the top bar: Logo, Color, Music, and Aspect ratio. Each opens a small panel where you make your choice.
Good to know: These settings are part of your brand kit elements. Your account's brand kit is applied automatically, and the template-level controls let you confirm or override the branding for this specific template. Organization-wide branding is covered in the separate Brand & design article.
Logo
The Logo control opens Logo selection. Pick a logo from your Saved logos (the one in use is marked Selected), or add a new one by dropping a file into the upload area or choosing Select file.
Color
The Color control opens Color selection. Choose from your Project colors (your saved palette) or from the Team color palettes shared across your account. Selecting a palette applies its colors throughout the template.
Good to know: Not sure which palette fits your brand or which combination looks best? Reach out to our support team β we're happy to suggest color combinations that work for your brand elements.
Music
The Music control opens Music selection, a browsable library of licensed tracks. Search by name, or filter by Genre, Mood, and Instrument, and toggle Instrumental to hide tracks with vocals. Switch between All songs and your Favorites, and click a track to set it as the template's music.
Good to know: The tracks in the library are pre-licensed for use in your videos. Use the βHow is this music licensed?β link in the panel for details. You're safe to use these tracks for commercial and business videos too β Mozaik handles all the business-side licensing for you.
Aspect ratio
The Aspect ratio control opens a panel with a Set aspect ratio toggle. Turn it on to choose the template's orientation: Portrait or Landscape. Each option lists the platforms it suits best (for example, portrait for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).
Good to know: You pick one orientation. With either option you also get a square (1:1) variant that is created automatically β so each template gives you two publish-ready formats (your chosen orientation plus square), not all three at once.
