What is Mozaik, and what is my role as a guest?
Mozaik is a video platform that makes it easy for businesses to create professional videos.
As a guest, you’ve been invited by a team to contribute content—for example, by recording videos or uploading material.
Your access is limited to the tasks you were invited to perform. You don’t need your own account and can get started right away using the invitation link.

Do I have to download the app?
No. You can use Mozaik directly via the invitation link in your smartphone’s browser. In most cases, no download is required.
If accessing the app via the browser doesn’t work, you can download the mobile app instead:

After downloading, you can also open your invitation link in the app and proceed as usual.
Will the videos be saved on my phone?
It depends on which device you're using:
Smartphone:
Your recordings are uploaded directly to Mozaik and are not normally saved permanently on your device.
Desktop:
When you use Mozaik on a desktop computer, the recorded videos are also saved to your Downloads folder. This allows you to access the files again later.
Do I need an internet connection to use Mozaik?
Yes. You need a stable internet connection to upload your recordings and work with Mozaik.
For a smooth experience, we recommend an upload speed of at least 10 Mbps. This will help you avoid uploads taking a very long time or, in the worst case, failing.
If your connection is slower, it may still work—but you may experience longer upload times or interruptions.
Can I prevent a recording from being forwarded if I'm not satisfied?
Yes. You always have full control over which recordings are sent.
After each recording, you can decide whether you want to re-record it or confirm it. The recording is only uploaded once you confirm it.
If you're unsure which recording is the best, you can also record and upload several versions. That way, you can choose the right one later.
What should I do if I can't film a scene?
If you can’t record a scene (e.g., because someone isn’t available), you have several options:
Record later: You can return to the scene at any time later. To do so, simply open the invitation link again on the same device and add the missing recording.
Skip the scene: Both in the mobile app and in the browser, you can skip the scene and move directly on to the next one.
This way, you stay flexible and can complete your recordings at a later time.
